The Northshore Tavern has a dedicated team of talented individuals committed to offering you the best value party venue and function room hire in the northern suburbs.
We can cater for birthdays, cocktail parties, engagements, wakes, seminars, and corporate events.
The Northshore Tavern is conveniently located at the Whitford City Shopping Centre in Hillarys. We have ample parking and ease of access for large groups.
Our party rooms offer you a variety of options to provide you with an event that will surely impress your guests.
Max capacity 130 (seated)
Man Cave 70- 80 people
Private area, room hire fees may apply. A$400 deposit is required to confirm your booking, and is used as part payment for your event, or if the balance is unused it will be refunded.
Beer Garden Exclusive (95 – 120)
Ideally suited for 30th, 40th, 50th birthdays, private cocktails, or any type of party where you want the feel of a relaxed beer garden and great pub vibe but want to keep you group together.
No room hire fee required, $400 deposit to confirm your booking, minimum spend negotiable depending on requirements and time needed, 50% required 14 days before the event.
Beach Bar Exclusive (455+)
Private Area, no room hire fee required, $2000 deposit to confirm your booking, minimum spend negotiable depending on requirements and time needed, 50% required 45 days before the event.
The Northshore Tavern is open to the public from 11am everyday, however exclusive hire is available from 6am any day of the week.
We regret that we cannot cater for birthday functions under the age of 21.
Please note that bookings are not confirmed until receipt of the deposit.

Pay As You Go
Your guests pay for their own drinks.
Individual accounts can be set up to your requirements. A credit card will be required from the client on the night to be kept behind the bar until settlement of the account on the conclusion of the function.
Provide your guests with a tab.
Northshore chefs prepare all function catering requirements from our very own kitchen, ensuring oven fresh food at all times. Our function platter menu is available in this package. Please note, the chef requires one week notice on all catering requirements.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate guests supplying their own food, unless it is desserts, Guests are free to bring along a cake or cupcakes etc.

The Northshore uses Nightlife Music system throughout the venue from the largest encoded library of music anywhere in the world.
Upon arrangement with the venue, the in-house PA system can be utilised to provide your own music if you wish in the form of an iPod, DJ or small acoustic band.
We can provide helium balloons at you cost and will set these up prior to your arrival. You are more than welcome to arrange specialised decorations also, and we can give you access to the building before opening times to set up. Nothing is to be nailed, screwed, stapled or adhered to any wall, door or other surface of the building.
We can accommodate slideshows and movies (sound subject to arrangement with the venue), throughout the venue.
A radio microphone facility is available and additional presentation equipment such as lecterns can be hired for you.
Your event will be attended by one of our function co-ordinators.
They will show you to your area and most importantly, they will ensure your function runs in a professional manner, and your catering is served to your requirements.
If we can be of any assistance throughout the evening please do not hesitate to ask.
It is suggested that security is provided for larger cocktail parties and around specific periods like Christmas. The venue can arrange this at an additional cost. Any events over 150 will attract security charges.
The Northshore is a licensed premises and the following conditions apply to any minor wishing to attend functions here at the venue:
– All minors must be accompanied by a parent at all times
– Minors may be required have some sort of identification to match the parent/s photo ID
– All minors must vacate the premises by no later than 10pm
– Minors may be asked to wear an ID wristband provided by us for the entire duration they are in attendance
CANCELLATION OF A CONFIRMED BOOKING
Written notice is required. After the deposit has been paid, results in forfeiture of the deposit. Between 3 months – 2 weeks incurs 50% of the anticipated food/beverage account and venue hire. 0 -14 days notice incurs 100% of the total anticipated food/beverage account.
CANCELLATION OF A TENTATIVE BOOKING
Written notice is required.
A cleaning fee will apply if any guest is sick and causes extra cleaning.
CHANGE OF DATES
A change of date is deemed as a cancellation. Please discuss with your Function Co-ordinator.
The booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit. Payment of the deposit is your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The venue will be under no obligation to proceed with the event if the deposit or full payment has not been received.
Functions booked on Public holidays will incur a 10% surcharge on all food and beverages unless otherwise agreed in writing.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The client is responsible for the conduct of the client’s guests and indemnifies The Northshore for all costs, expenses, damage and loss caused by any act made by the client or the client’s guests.
