The Northshore Tavern has a dedicated team of talented individuals committed to offering you the best value party venue and function room hire in the northern suburbs.
We cater for birthdays, cocktail parties, engagements, bucks and hens, wakes, seminars, and corporate events. The Northshore Tavern is conveniently located at the Whitford City Shopping Centre in Hillarys. We have ample parking and ease of access for large groups. We specialise in catering for wakes and celebrations of life.
Our party rooms offer you a variety of options for an event that will surely impress your guests.
Function 1 Max capacity 130 (seated)
Function 2 Max capacity 80 (seated)
Function 1&2 Max capacity 210 (seated)
Private area, room hire fees may apply. A $400 deposit is required to confirm your booking, and is used as part payment for your event, or if the balance is unused you will be refunded.
Beer Garden Exclusively (95 – 120)
Ideally suited to 30th, 40th, 50th birthdays, private cocktails, or any type of party where you want the feel of a relaxed beer garden and great pub vibe but want to keep your group together.
No room hire fee is required, although a $400 deposit will confirm your booking, the minimum spend is negotiable dependant upon requirements and length of the booking, 50% is required 14 days before the event.
BIKINI Bar (90)
Suited for smaller and more intimate functions. Sit down mong tables available.

Northshore chefs prepare all function food in our own kitchen, ensuring oven fresh food at all times. Our function platter menu offers a wide variety of options.

Our $40 per person standard beverage package includes:
- Grandstand SBS

Add $9 per person for our premium beverage package which includes:

- Icarus Cabernet Merlot

ENTERTAINMENT, AV, DECORATIONS

The Northshore uses the Nightlife Music system offering the largest encoded library of music anywhere in the world.
Upon arrangement with the venue, the in-house PA system can be utilised to provide your own music in the form of an iPod, DJ or small acoustic band.
We can accommodate slideshows and movies (sound subject to arrangement with the venue), throughout the venue.
Speak to our function coordinator about decorations, balloons, and presentation equipment.
The Fine Print
- Functions at The Northshore require a minimum of 30 people for our beverage package prices to apply.
- Our beverage package is for a two hour period, an additional cost of $15 per person applies for each hour thereafter.
- A $15 per person non-refundable deposit is required to secure a beverage package booking.
- Full prepayment on total cost is required seven days prior to the event.
- Dietary requirements must be advised at least seven days prior to booking date.
- Cancellation policy: final confirmed numbers are required at the time of payment. Any increase in guest numbers is subject to availability.
- The Northshore will not provide a refund for “no shows” on the day of your event.
- AV equipment is available however some AV equipment comes at an additional cost. This cost cannot be used towards minimum spend. Please speak to our functions team about your AV requirements.
